If the C is hard to play, the V is even harder. Like its sibling, the C, the V cannot be used to form a two letter word. This means you have to work even harder to make good use of it on the board. Using the same strategy as I taught you in the article on C words, studying words that END with V, can create new opportunities for you to play it effectively.
However, there are even fewer words that end with V than there are with C. With the C’s we looked at 3 and 4 letter words. With the V, we will study three to seven letter words that end with V. Even so, there are only 17 words in this list. However, you will probably find that most of these are new words for you even though almost half of them are three-letter words. There is also only one seven letter word in this list: isogriv…just in case you get an unlikely bingo opportunity with it!
